Senior Marketing Copywriter (Athens-based, on-site)

Job purpose

As a senior member of the creative team, you will be responsible for developing compelling and innovative copy that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional storytelling abilities, and a passion for creating impactful content across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide creative direction and leadership to the copywriting team, ensuring the development of innovative and impactful content.
• Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with overall business objectives and brand positioning.
• Spearhead the creation of integrated communication campaigns, ensuring a unified and consistent brand voice.
• Shape and reinforce the brand vision through persuasive and engaging storytelling.
• Actively contribute to the evolution of brand guidelines, ensuring they reflect the company's vision and values.
• Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and public relations teams to ensure a seamless integration of copy and visual elements in all communication materials.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather insights and align messaging with broader corporate strategies.
• Lead the development of thought leadership content, positioning the company as an industry influencer.
• Interface with executives and subject matter experts to extract insights and translate them into compelling narratives.
• Utilize data and analytics to measure the performance of communication campaigns and refine strategies for optimal impact.
• Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance the effectiveness of copy.
• Carry out any reasonably allocated duties and tasks, relevant to the role and the scope of activities by applying a flexible & adaptable customer centric approach to serve PeopleCert’s multinational presence and global operations across multiple time zones
• Ensure their work and presence is aligned with company’s values “Quality - Passion - Integrity – Innovation,” at all times

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Senior Copywriter or in a similar role at the Associate Creative Director level
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• ·Strong understanding of brand strategy, corporate messaging, and creative processes.
• Experience working on corporate communications and marketing campaigns
• Excellent command of the English language (native-like or C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification would be considered a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Well organized, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
• Prior working experience in the certification of persons and/or training and exam fields would be considered an advantage

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
• Financial background check
• Employment reference check.
• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
