An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Reconciliation Analyst to join our international team in Nicosia. We are seeking a skilled specialist with knowledge and experience of financial reconciliation and data analysis, preferably within the financial industry, to manage a system reconciliation service involving daily balancing activities for TSYS clients.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conducts daily reconciliation of the PRIME service for clients and produces a consolidated reconciliation status report for all clients.
• Investigates out-of-balance incidents and raises tickets if necessary for root cause resolution and data recovery, tracking them to resolution.
• Participates in designing and testing automated balancing spreadsheets for new clients tailored to their specific configuration.
• Participate in the analysis, design and testing of additional reconciliation checkpoints as necessary for existing clients.

The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills:

• Ability to work independently to a pre-agreed schedule and support the Team whenever required.
• Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of reporting.
• A self-starter, pro-active and able to operate on their own initiative.
• Basic knowledge and experience on SQL, Python and scripting. 
• Basic knowledge on Jupyter Lab would be an advantage.
• VBA knowledge would be an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and LibreOffice including ability to design and use pivot tables, macros and formulae.
• Educated to degree level in a numerate subject e,g Finance, Banking, IT or equivalent
• London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Higher Accounting would be an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites or to other TSYS locations as required.
