Key responsibilities
- Assisting with individual and
corporate tax compliance work including the preparation of tax
calculations, tax returns and other tax forms - Discussing client queries and
requests and assisting in the drafting of relevant responses - Reviewing of agreements and
proposed transactions to assess the potential tax impact taking into
consideration tax legislation, double tax treaties and common practice - Providing support on specific
projects / assignments which require the involvement of a tax expert - Liaising with local tax
authorities on client issues - Assisting with preparation of
ad-hoc tax advisory work
Profile of the ideal candidate
- University degree in
Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field - ACA / ACCA / ADIT qualified
or studying towards such a professional qualification - At least 4 years of relevant
experience in a professional services firm is a must - Team player with very good
communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated with a strong
sense of ownership and accountability - Excellent organizational,
planning and time management skills
Remuneration and benefits
