Job Description - Software Sales Representative

Mellon Technologies, the parent company of Mellon Group of Companies, was founded in 1994 in Athens. Our offering consists of specialized technology solutions, contact centre and business process outsourcing services, to serve the increasing needs of financial institutions and organizations with strong consumer transactions business, such as Retail Banks, Public Utilities, Telecommunications Providers and large Private Companies.

Mellon Technologies seeks to hire a Software Sales Representative

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the business development related to company’s software and technology solutions mainly in the Banking Sector. The salesperson will have a strong understanding of the business along with the sales process, excelling at generating sales leads and building customer relationships.

Job Description

  • Maintain and expand the company’s clientele
  • Identify opportunities and resources required to accelerate business volume
  • Schedule appointments with potential clients to discuss Mellon solutions features and benefits
  • Identify/anticipate customer business needs and goals, and propose solutions to meet their needs, including RFP response
  • Prepare reports on sales performance including forecasts and account records
  • Participate in sales meetings with clients to discuss product features, pricing and delivery timeframes
  • Build trusted ongoing relationships with existing and prospective clients. Follow up after meetings to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work effectively in a Team Selling environment promoting multiple solutions across business units that come together to meet customer needs
  • Stay abreast of market trends and develop competitive sales strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Networks or related discipline
  • Master’s degree will be considered as an asset
  • At least 3-5 years of experience preferably within a Tech sector company
  • Previous sales experience in dealing with the Banking sector and related areas will be considered as an asset
  • Analytical skills
  • Drive for results
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Strategic thinker with a sales mentality, as well as analytical ability and a shown ability to execute strategy
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
  • Proactive person, able to make decisions independently
