- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar position
- Degree in Culinary Arts will be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English Language
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills in handling employees and guests’ complaints
- Staying current with local and international trends
- Computer skills including good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Due to work permit restrictions, candidates must have the relevant papers to work to Cyprus
Duties:
- Under the direction of the Executive Chef or his delegate, works, oversees and directs all aspects of the Food Production
- Assists the developing and maintaining up-dated operations manuals for all Food Production and Stewarding sections.
- Conducts daily briefings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal result
- Assists the Executive Chef in determining the minimum and maximum stocks of all food, material and equipment.
- Keeps the recipes standards as shown by the Executive Chef
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Comply with and enforce Health and Safety regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues and customers
