Hydro-Comp is an international Information technology and consulting company specialising in integrated management information systems (called EDAMS) and related services for Utilities, Municipalities and Government Environmental departments. (). 

Recent growth and current international market development have necessitated the creation of a new position in our Product Services Division headquartered in Cyprus.

The position

Systems & Support Engineer

The primary function of the position will be the technical support of EDAMS systems (Billing, Network Asset Management, Operations & Maintenance).

This advert is targeted at graduates, among others.

Requirements

• Electrical engineering or Computer Science degree.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environment and operating system.
• Experience in the use of MS SQL Server and good knowledge of SQL
• Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
• Desire and ability to work in a challenging environment.
• Critical thinking and problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• End-user support (on-site, telephonic & Internet).
• Installation, set-up and configuration of EDAMS systems and ancillary products (e.g. MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports).
• Training of end-users (managers, systems administrators and operational staff)
• On-site assistance in the operation of EDAMS systems.
• Development of reports, dashboards and SQL scripts.
