For our Information Technology department, we are looking for a:n


Team leader web services & automation

The area of responsibility includes

• Management and development of a team of 5 IT specialists
• Planning, implementation and management of the IT web services of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck
• Collaboration with other teams
• Development and implementation of automation solutions to improve the efficiency and scalability of the IT infrastructure
• Automation of processes, provision of tools, monitoring of system performance
• Ensure that IT web services and automation solutions meet IT security standards and compliance requirements
• Implement security measures, monitor security incidents and work closely with the IT Security Officer
• Ensuring a smooth integration

Expected to be

• Degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, communications engineering or engineering sciences) or comparable qualification or proven equivalent skills and experience (e.g. through many years of relevant professional experience that qualifies for the advertised position)
• Practical experience in software development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in leading a motivated team
• Sound knowledge of implementing and managing IT infrastructures and automation solutions
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, networks and security
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High level of initiative and results orientation
• Very good knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems (client and server)
