Job Description - Tech Support Engineer

Hyperlife Technologies Ltd . is a steadily growing technical services and products provider in Nicosia. The company specializes in Manage Services, Backups, DR, End User Support, Telephone Systems, Web Development, E-Com solutions, Hosting, and Cyber Security. 

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Information Technology Help Desk / End-user Support Engineer. The role involves resolving technical issues to the satisfaction of the client, providing timely responses to technical support inquiries, maintaining accurate documentation of technical support tickets and resolutions, and working with other IT department personnel to resolve escalations. The IT Help Desk will also be responsible for setting up new user accounts, email profiles, and computer setups, as well as hardware/software moves, adds, and changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Assist users with account setup, email configuration, and software installations.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity problems and Wi-Fi setup.
  • Provide guidance and support for common PC operating systems and office software.
  • Track and document resolutions for future reference.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation of new IT solutions and projects.

Qualifications :  

  • Network Administration and Network Security skills
  • Information Technology and Troubleshooting skills
  • Customer Service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent certifications are desirable
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Fluency in both Greek and English is required.
  • Driving License is mandatory
