Under the direction of the Executive Chef and Head Villa Chef, the incumbent will assist in taking care of the daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the set standards and qualities.You will need to be an excellent communicator, hands-on, creative, a dedicated team player, passionate about food and committed to work together with the villa hosts to deliver ultimate guest experiences every time.This role is based at our Amanzoe in the greater Porto Heli Area - Greece. While we are open to applications from international candidates, we ask that you already possess the right to live and work in Greece without the need for a company-supported work permit.
You will need to have a Degree in Culinary Arts from a certified school in Greece or abroad. You will likely already possess at least 1-2 years of experience in a Sous Chef / Chef de Partie position either in a private villa, 5* hotel or in high standards Restaurant. Fluency in English is essential.
You will need to practice good time management to ensure duties are carried out efficiently. You have to work with good attention to detail, to use initiative to anticipate Guests’ needs, to be available at any time to take care of Guests and to be able to work well under pressure. You have to be flexible to deal with last minute requests and to improve skills and continue training for personal development as well as better service to guests.
