Visual Merchandising Manager

Symeonides Fashion House Ltd, a leading company in the retail industry seeks to recruit a Visual Merchandising Manager for its Marks & Spencer stores in Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca and Paralimni. The right candidate will deliver and communicate visual concepts and strategies to promote retail brands, products and services in our stores. Our ideal candidate will find magic in the mix – hard and soft, stripes and florals, classic and modern, and use planning, organisation, artist & commercial instinct, strategy, and creativity to elevate the store setting & environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversees that all visual merchandising standards in stores including window displays, space management/ proportionality and apparel care is of a high standard following M&S guidelines
• Delivers aspirational use of product through consistently strong visual statements & product handling
• Works with selling reports, budgets and other available tools to make business decisions regarding visual merchandising and stock allocations
• Interprets seasonal concept direction, business’s guidelines and inspiration provided by the Company to meet the needs of our stores, including space/ proportionality constraints, knowledge of customer and local cultural interests
• Drives development in Visual Merchandise standards across all stores
• Excellent understanding of VM concepts with a practical application to achieve
• Supports the store managers by providing the visual ambassadors with constant feedback for development and assists with their performance reviews
• Identifies future talent and formulate clear and challenging goals to assist with their development

Requirements

• University degree in Visual Merchandising or Interior Design or Fashion Merchandising or in a related field
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in a managerial position/ Visual merchandising experience in an apparel environment
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Sophisticated merchandising and outfitting skills
• Planning, organization, and communication skills to manage the placement of our products and complete projects according to our International guidelines & procedures
• The ability to train, coach and support our sales team through visual and display emphasis, product knowledge and vision
• Computer literate
• Strong business, commercial and retail perception
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Communication and organizational skills
• Strong analysis and presentation skills
