Warehouse & Logistics Officer (VAC-A2502)

Job description

Our client is a Supplier in Nicosia is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and logistics management.

Job Duties

• Research potential vendors, comparing and evaluating offers
  
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  
• Review quality of purchased products
  
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
  
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  
• Manage inventory and place orders as needed
  
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  
• Quality Control – Review orders before they are shipped out

Job Requirements

• BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field
  
• Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role preferred
  
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
  
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP B1) will be considered an advantage
  
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
  
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
  
• Excellent communication skills in English and Greek
  
• Negotiation skills
  
• Strong organisational skills
  
• Enthusiastic and cooperative nature
  

Working hours:

The working hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:00am – 17.00pm
