Task Description

With the gradual introduction of autonomous driving, an enormous revolution is about to take place in individual transportation, the full scope of which is still unknown to many. As the driving task will increasingly be taken over by the vehicle in the future, the driver will become a passenger and be able to devote more time to other tasks. This change challenges the classic interior concept of a vehicle. At the same time, enormous artificial intelligence is opening up completely new possibilities for human-machine interaction.

If you are an expert in the field of Generative Al, maybe even know your way around ontologies, and are interested in deepening your knowledge and establishing contacts in the German automotive industry. Then shape the driving experience of the future with us at NIKI. Possible main topic is:

Future-oriented vehicle interior concepts incorporating artificial intelligence.

Basic Qualifications

• Enrolled in university studies in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or other related fields.
• Significant experience with Generative Al and possibly initial experience with ontologies
• High motivation and pleasure to work on visionary ideas
• Personal initiative and commitment, the ability to work in a team, and a good sense of humor.
• Excellent English skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar discipline.
• Good command of the German language.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different groups/individuals.
• Experience working in a higher institution.
