Accounting Supervisor

Melis Meat Market Ltd is looking to hire an Accounting Supervisor in Limassol.

The company is the market leader in the retail sales of meat products and has a considerable growth in wholesales. In addition, the company will soon construct its own factory that will enable it to grow its activities even more. In this context there is the need to hire a high calibre individual for the position of the Accounting Supervisor. 

Candidate Responsibilities

• Managing a team of bookkeepers
• Liaising with internal and external parties for the completion of the bookkeeping
• Reviewing the bookkeeping and relevant documentation
• Preparing quarterly management reports
• Liaising with company auditors for the completion of the audit
• Provide relevant and timely information to Management
• Deal with any other duties relevant to the position

Candidate Profile

• University/College graduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance or related field
• Must be qualified (ACA or ACCA)
• Experience in Taxation and VAT will be considered an advantage
• 3-5 years of experience in similar position or Big 4 audit firm
• Well organized and dedicated to ensure delivery of deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with colleagues and associates
• Team player with flexibility and willingness to support
• Fluent in Greek and English

The remuneration package will be based on the qualifications and the experience of the right candidate.
