We are excited to expand our business and we are currently in search of a  Buyer (Wholesales business) who will take over procurement related tasks, such as managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, ensuring all goods are checked and delivered on time.

The position is based in Koropi - Athens

What you’ll do:

• Communicate daily with suppliers and build strong relationships
• Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quantities and delivery time scales in order to achieve the commercial targets (e.g. SLAs)
• Research, evaluate and select suppliers
• Ensure the smooth and on time distribution of the products
• Monitor stock and plan purchases accordingly and within budget
• Coordinate the overall purchase process (buying, payment, logistics)
• Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
• Collaborate efficiently with various internal departments

What you’ll need:

• At least 4 years of experience similar role (purchasing, buying) in the field of Retail or Wholesale specializing in food industry
• Bachelor's degree will be considered a plus
• Fluent both in Greek and English (oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and especially Excel
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set priorities and execute tasks in a short time frame organizational skills
• Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Availability to commute to Koropi
