Job Description - Operations Manager

SWOT Hospitality  is looking to recruit

Operations Manager

for a hotel its portofolio

The  Operations Manager will be instrumental in leading and supervising the day-to-day running of all property functions, designing and executing strategies in order to ensure the commercial and operational success of the hotel. This is a hands-on management role and will be fully accountable for the daily operations of the property.

About the role:

  • Ensure that the operations team are properly directed according to our standards and able to carry out the operations of each function
  • Have detailed knowledge of all property features & services, all suite types, rates, promotions, availability, scheduled in-house group activities, handling VIP guests, as well as special requests and arrangements
  • Review and respond to daily operational demands as needed
  • Motivate all staff members to provide top-level service to our guests
  • Continually work to enhance and advance the hotel’s sales goals and operations quality scores
  • Lead creative and passionate approaches to personalize each guest experience
  • Have detailed knowledge of all property features & services, all suite types, rates, promotions, availability, scheduled in-house group activities, handling VIP guests, as well as special requests and arrangements

Requirements

  • Εxperience as Operations Manager or Ass.Hotel Manager or over 4 years in another managerial position
  • Area hotel experience and / or knowledge is essential
  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals. Able to set priorities, plan, organize, delegate and control.
  • The ability to improve and maintain high service standards across the hotel are required.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language(written and verbal)
  • A self-motivated, driven, results orientated, and proactive attitude is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a very strong customer-focused approach
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Dealing with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
