How you will contribute to EveryPay's vision

We are growing our Product Development team and we are looking for an experienced Engineer in Test!

What are our challenges

Scale : Our business is on a significant growth trajectory. This means that our tech has to follow suit. You can be expected to work on optimising our architecture and tech, enabling global level of workloads, and solving major, complex, scalability problems.

Breadth : We are on a constant mission of expanding our product line. You will be working on enabling the latest and most innovative payment methods using cutting-edge APIs and infrastructure of companies such as Google, Apple, and Amazon.

Depth : We are a tech company. As we grow, we are constantly re-evaluating our tech stack, and refactor our code-base. We are on a constant mission to refactor, and optimise, our existing codebase.

What you will be doing

• Establish, monitor and maintain our automated testing suite.
• Use automation to ensure the high quality of our software products.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with the automated tests and are improving existing flows.
• Understand the needs of our products, advise and design its testing strategies.
• Maintain manual testing scenarios where automation is not possible.

• Work with a wide range of systems, both in house and external interfaces.
• Be exposed to, and learn about the unique world of payments, and learn the APIs and functionality of significant Payment Schemes like Visa and Mastercard.
• Work with your team, learn from them, and share your knowledge.
• Understand the latest cloud-based technologies, including Agile, Automated CI/CD and testing.
• Create new products that positively impact almost every person who buys or sells via e-commerce in Greece.
• Collaborate across different teams and departments, including Product, Sales, Compliance, AML and Operations.
• Research, and develop new products poised to help marketplaces and merchants grow.
• Grow yourself: we will sponsor Learning & Development opportunities for our talented staff.
• Our Stack : AWS / Typescript / Playwright / PHP / GitHub Actions / Python / Terraform.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as Software Engineer in Test for a product company.
• A finance and payments background is a plus but not a must-have.
• Familiarity with the specifics of our tech stack is not an issue; our team will coach you – we want you to succeed!
• Be creative, open-minded and commercially driven.
• You thrive in team-based environments and can co-operate with stakeholders from all departments and levels of the organisation.
• Have high levels of user empathy, and care for improving customer experience.
• Take pride in being an Engineer and apply your skills in a multitude of problems spanning across multiple verticals.
• Enjoy both learning and sharing with your team.
