Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux (www.avaton.com) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team.

As the Housekeeping Manager at Avaton Luxury Beach Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and high standards of hygiene throughout the resort. You will manage a team of housekeeping staff, oversee the daily operations, and ensure that guest rooms and public areas are immaculately clean and well-maintained. Your strong organizational and leadership skills will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the resort's standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a smooth operation
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens
• Handle guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Create and maintain a positive working environment for the housekeeping team

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
