Job Description - Analyst, exotic trade

Your new company

Our client is a top tier investment banking firm, and they are looking for a new trade support member to join their exotic team.

Your new role

Produce daily transaction and valuation reports accurately and on time.
Flag any issues or delays in reporting to stakeholders quickly.
Work with internal teams to fix reporting problems.
Improve processes to make reporting more efficient and controlled.
Partner with tech teams to find root causes and fix issues.
Track and report outstanding queries for Trading and Sales daily.
Prepare KPI reports for senior management.
Check trade details against term sheets and support Sales & Trading with queries.
Create daily control reports highlighting any exceptions.
Support change and remediation projects, ensuring actions are completed and communicated.

What you'll need to succeed

Basic understanding of regulatory reporting and transaction processing.
Knowledge of equity derivatives and OTC products.
Experience in Trade Support or a similar role.
Familiar with the full trade life cycle.
Good organisation, time management, and communication skills.
Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Able to think creatively and suggest process improvements.
