Job Description - Application Support Analyst

Your new role

Support applications to resolve incidents and business requests within SLA, focusing on root cause analysis and proactive improvements.
Perform technical troubleshooting, system administration, and performance tuning for investment or financial platforms
Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring, automation, and efficiency to reduce downtime and improve service quality
Work closely with business teams, vendors, and IT partners to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business needs.
Be available for off-hours support and weekend deployments when required
Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues, track escalations, and ensure timely fixes

What you'll need to succeed

University degree in computer science or related fields
At least 3 years' investment platform management platform support experience (e.g. SimCorp)
Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive process improvements
Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash/Shell), SQL, Linux/Unix, and system administration. Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), Windows environments. Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, JIRA)
Knowledge of ITIL practices - incident, problem, and change management
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
