Assistant Accountant - Contract

The Company

Our client is a luxury retail organization is looking for an Assistant Accountant focus on store performance, stock variances, settlement and store operation. The Role

• Coordinating with Brand Retail teams and SAP IT specialists to troubleshoot sales data or POS issues.
• Reviewing and validating store daily closing reports.
• Verifying and matching bank deposit records against boutique submissions.
• Completing credit card settlement reconciliation and highlighting irregular transactions.
• Processing customer refunds and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Following up with Brand Retail teams on stock variances, adjustments, or missing items.
• Managing the annual staff consignment stock confirmation process.
• Coordinating consignment-out procedures with external business partners.
• Providing guidance on retail policies, procedures, and compliance expectations.
• Ensuring boutiques follow internal controls and standard operating procedures.

Your Profile

• Experience using accounting or ERP systems, particularly SAP, for transaction review and reporting.
• Strong analytical and accounting abilities, including:
• Ability to interpret sales, stock, and financial data quickly and accurately.
• Reliable, proactive, and responsible team player with mature interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Table), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese for cross‑team coordination.
• Immediately available is highly preferred
