Job Description - Assistant Manager, Infrastructure Delivery (1-year contract)

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of Azure infrastructure initiatives, from requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, production deployment, and post-implementation review.
Design, implement, and support Azure cloud services, including networking, connectivity, identity management, monitoring platforms, and infrastructure components for business and application projects.
Administer and optimise Azure Managed Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, dashboards, alerts, reporting, and monitoring integrations to ensure platform performance and availability.
Provide L2/L3 operational support by troubleshooting complex incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors, and driving timely issue resolution.
Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), technical documentation, operational procedures, implementation plans, and governance processes to enhance service reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform operations, preferably within a large-scale or regulated enterprise environment.
Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, virtual networks, identity and access management, RBAC, hybrid identity, and Azure PaaS services.
Proven experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools, including Azure Managed Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, KQL, dashboards, and alert management.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, ADFS, Web Application Proxy, SAML, OAuth, application registrations, service principals, certificate management, and authentication technologies.
Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Python, Git, and CI/CD practices; exposure to Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric would be an advantage.
