Job Description - Assistant Manager / Manager | Special Assets/ Credit Analysis/ Loan Guarantee

Your new company

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support their team with default claim due diligence, special assets monitoring, and credit assessment for commercial and SME loan portfolios.

Your new role
  • Lead the due diligence review of default claims for commercial and SME loan portfolios, ensuring all findings are accurate, well-supported, and compliant with internal standards.

  • Monitor special assets and debt recovery actions taken by lending institutions


  • Support debt workout processes, reviewing restructuring and repayment proposals to ensure timely resolution


  • Engage proactively with internal stakeholders, lenders, and external advisers on matters relating to loan guarantee schemes, claims processing, and credit procedures.

  • Process and approve loan applications, ensuring alignment with established credit policies and risk guidelines.


  • Prepare clear, structured reports and analysis to support management decisions


  • Contribute to ad hoc assignments and special projects that strengthen our operational efficiency and governance


What you'll need to succeed
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in special asset management, credit administration, or in corporate restructuring / insolvency within an international accounting firm


  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret financial information and assess risk.


  • A detail-oriented and self-motivated professional who is well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities.


  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis tools, pivot tables, and conditional formatting
