Job Description - Business Analyst, Global insurer

Responsibilities

Execute business analysis and technical delivery activities across multiple stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable process and project improvements.
Gather and validate requirements, develop clear functional specifications, and partner with developers and operations teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
Lead end-to-end UAT ownership: create test plans, coordinate test execution, manage defects, and communicate clearly with business users throughout testing.
Manage change requests and track bug-fixing progress with engineering teams, ensuring timely resolutions and effective release readiness.
Provide rollout and post-implementation support, monitoring early adoption, resolving issues, and supporting continuous improvement for key applications.

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to insurance transformation or technology-enabled process change.
Insurance project experience is required.
Strong command of both Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of Agile ways of working and tools such as JIRA preferred.
Strong documentation skills, stakeholder management, and a structured approach to requirements, testing, and defect/issue tracking.
