Job Description - Business Analyst - Insurance

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement discovery sessions.
Map and improve existing business processes and workflows.
Translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.

Project Delivery

Support project planning, backlog grooming, and sprint activities (Agile or hybrid project methods).
Assist in defining test scenarios, preparing UAT plans, and coordinating testing activities.
Track issues, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution
Support preparation of training materials, user guides, and communication plans.
Assist with rollout activities and provide post‑implementation support.
Help identify opportunities for further enhancements.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
2-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience working on digital, system, or process improvement projects.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage requirements effectively.
Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies.

Preferred (Optional)

Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma, or similar.
Knowledge of project management frameworks or BA certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
Experience with data analysis or digital customer journey design.
