Job Description - Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst (Data)

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for portfolio transfer initiatives.
Perform detailed data analysis to assess data quality, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.
Define and conduct data mining, mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation rules to support accurate portfolio transfer.
Identify data gaps, exceptions, and business or system impacts across policy, customer, and operational areas.
Support UAT, implementation readiness, and post-transfer validation in close collaboration with business, IT teams, and vendors.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within insurance or financial services.
Strong hands-on experience in data analysis, data mapping, reconciliation, exception handling, and validation.
Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and testable documentation (e.g. business rules, requirements, process flows).
Experience supporting UAT and business validation for data-intensive or migration-related initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; experience in portfolio transfer or data migration is an advantage.
