Job Description - Business Analyst (Trade Finance), Banking

Our client is a long‑established global financial institution with a strong presence in corporate and transaction banking.
They are seeking Business Analysts to join a large‑scale, multi‑year banking transformation programme focused on trade finance and core banking migration.

Job Duties

Gather and document business requirements across:
Trade finance products (e.g. letters of credit, guarantees, supply chain finance)
CGI Trade360 workflows and configurations
Core banking migration impacts
Analyse current‑state and target‑state business processes
Support trade finance system implementation and enhancements using CGI Trade360
Assess integration, data, and process impacts arising from core banking migration
Work closely with multiple vendors, technology teams, and business stakeholders
Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities
Assist with issue tracking, documentation, and delivery governance in a structured environment

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
5-6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking
Strong trade finance domain knowledge
Hands‑on experience with trade finance platforms (CGI Trade360 preferred)
Experience supporting core banking migration or large‑scale system transformation
Strong business analysis and documentation skills
Solid understanding of trade finance operations
Comfortable working in a highly governed and structured delivery environment
Experience working with multiple vendors and delivery teams
Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
