Cloud Architect

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to support major infrastructure transformation initiatives across hybrid cloud environments. This role will focus on solution design, migration planning, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Assess existing application and infrastructure environments and propose suitable migration approaches.
• Review, validate, and improve technical designs provided by vendors or implementation partners.
• Redesign infrastructure solutions to align with business, security, performance, and operational requirements.
• Support cost estimation, planning, and engineering reporting.
• Work closely with cloud platform teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare architecture diagrams and present technical solutions clearly.

Requirements

• Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure or cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects.
• Good understanding of legacy applications and enterprise systems.
• Ability to assess design proposals and provide practical recommendations.
• Experience in cost estimation and solution planning.
• Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Experience across Azure and cloud-native environments is an advantage.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on AliCloud migration experience.
• Exposure to application platforms such as WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, or similar enterprise systems.
• Experience working with cloud vendors, partners, or internal architecture teams.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud, networking, security, HA/DR, and migration strategy.
