Job Description - Cloud Architect, Banking, 70k

Our client is a well‑established bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Cloud Architect to design and manage their multi‑cloud environment. In this role, you will define cloud standards, lead architecture design, enhance cloud security, and support AI/data platform initiatives across multiple public cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain multi‑cloud architecture and governance standards
Lead cloud network architecture using a global hub‑and‑spoke model
Develop security, resilience, and disaster recovery strategies
Guide data and AI architecture patterns across BigQuery, Kafka, Vertex AI, etc.
Drive cloud cost optimization, forecasting, and migration planning
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and compliance teams
Lead design workshops and deliver cloud‑native projects

Requirements

Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years' hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud
Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, landing zones, and DevOps automation
Experience in monitoring, logging, IAM, and cost management
Familiar with cybersecurity and AI security frameworks
Good communication skills in Chinese and English
