Cloud Governance Manager, Banking, 80k

We are hiring a Cloud Governance Manager for a leading bank in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in cloud governance, risk management, and team leadership within the financial sector. You will lead the development and execution of cloud governance frameworks, ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards, and work closely with both internal teams and external cloud service providers.

• Build and maintain a cloud governance framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and enforce cloud governance policies and procedures covering security, privacy, and operational standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with cloud operations, ensuring services stay within approved risk levels.
• Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of cloud resources and assets.
• Work with technical teams to review cloud capacity needs and provide reporting on resource usage based on business demand.
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers and external partners, ensuring SLAs are met and governance standards are followed.
• Provide training and guidance to technical teams and stakeholders on cloud governance policies, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Continuously monitor cloud operations and recommend improvements to strengthen governance.

• University graduate, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years in cloud governance, compliance, or cloud risk management.
• At least 5 years in a team lead or management role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alicloud, etc.) and industry standards.
• Strong project management, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Cloud‑related certifications or professional qualifications.
• Able to understand regulatory guidelines, market practices, and online technical material.
• Fluent in Cantonese; strong reading and writing skills in English.
