Corporate Accountant - Contract

Our client, a reputable financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing general ledger activities and supporting accurate, timely financial reporting across the organization. The Role

• Manage general ledger (GL) activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support financial closing processes and ensure adherence to reporting timelines
• Perform balance sheet and P&L analysis, identifying variances and trends
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with external and internal audits
• Maintain and enhance finance processes within the accounting system
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support business and reporting needs

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional qualification preferred (CPA / ACCA / CA or equivalent)
• Solid hands‑on experience in general ledger (GL) accounting
• Mandatory SAP system experience
• Prior experience within financial services is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Immediately available is highly preferred
