Data Engineer (12 months contract)

We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building resilient data platforms that support regulatory reporting and risk calculations. Your new role

• Design and develop backend systems for data integration and regulatory scenario calculations
• Work with large-scale data feeds and ensure high throughput and reliability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Contribute to every stage of the development lifecycle-from requirements gathering to deployment and support
• Work across a diverse tech stack including Java, Scala, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4-10 years of experience in data engineering or backend development
• Strong programming skills in Java or Scala (willingness to learn both is a plus)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
