Your new role
The Data Governance & AI Director leads the execution of enterprise-wide data governance & AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives. This role partners with senior stakeholders to implement governance frameworks, oversee data quality controls, and drive continuous improvement.

• Develop and implement data governance & AI policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee data governance and rules management processes. The scope includes data lifecycle management, AI governance, data quality and privacy.
• Monitor and report on data governance metrics; drive remediation plans for identified issues.
• Conduct training sessions for business and IT owners on data governance roles and responsibilities.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technology to ensure data-related requirements are defined and prioritised.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years in data governance, data management, or related fields.
• Proven ability to design and implement data governance frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Background in Legal and Compliance will be highly advantageous.
