DevOps Engineer

Job descriptions:

• Build, deploy, automate, maintain and manage production systems and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across platforms.
• Manage and evolve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and platforms to maximize delivery efficiency.
• Implement and iterate on DevOps best practices to increase deployment velocity and improve quality.
• Design, develop and maintain operational solutions for administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, security, and performance monitoring.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor products; assist in planning infrastructure enhancements and refreshes.
• Define, help enforce and execute IT policies, standards, problem- and change-management procedures.
• Promote and sustain knowledge-sharing practices across the engineering teams.
• Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams to deliver end-to-end products and features from conception to release.
• Support and maintain deliverables in accordance with IT standards, guidelines and CNCBI policies (including regulatory and anti-money-laundering / finance controls).
• Opportunity to work in Data Center environments to support self-managed servers.

Job requirements:

• 4 years' hands-on experience implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern cloud-native and container-based approaches; experience with both cloud and on-premise (PaaS/SaaS) platforms preferred.
• Preferably a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications are desirable, for example: OCP, CKA, RHCE (or equivalent).
• ITIL and/or PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (examples: AWS, Azure, AliCloud, or other market cloud platforms).
• Practical experience with containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes.
• Practical experience implementing deployment automation and configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD and DevSecOps toolchains and related tools - e.g., Jenkins, Git/GitOps, Maven, NPM, Jira, Elastic - and experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent scripting and coding skills (Bash, Python, Terraform or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques.
