ECM Support Analyst (Investment Bank)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to ECM Analysts and Associates in the marketing and execution of equity offerings such as: Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Follow-on offerings, Block trades and sell-downs of shares
• Collaborate with equity sales, trading, and research teams to gather investor feedback, discuss market trends, and track sector-specific insights.
• Assist in the preparation of pitch books, investor presentations, and related marketing materials.
• Build, update, and interpret financial models to support deal analysis and client recommendations.
• Work with clients on complex, innovative financing and risk management solutions
• Participate in internal team discussions and client meetings, occasionally presenting sections of materials or analysis.
• Support business development strategies, including sector-specific research and analysis of target clients and industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field.
• 1-2 years' experience in in ECM, capital market, or a related role
• Strong understanding of equity capital markets and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel.
• Experience preparing investor materials, pitch books, and analytical reports using PowerPoint and other tools.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or other financial databases is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced trading environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
