Full Stack Developer (Vue.js + Node.js) [12-Month Contract]

Our client, a leading financial services company in Hong Kong, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join on a 12-month renewable contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building scalable web applications, and is curious about the evolving world of Generative AI. You'll be working on end-to-end development of modern web platforms, integrating AI capabilities, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Vue.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
• Integrate and experiment with Generative AI platforms to enhance product capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements of the Role

• Bachelor's or master's degree in related fields or equivalent experience
• Hands on experience in web/mobile applications development
• Strong knowledge with JavaScript (e.g. Vue.js and Node.js).
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
