FX Sales Application Agile Full-Stack Developer (Contract)

Main Responsibilities

- FO and Clients service quality guardian: Closely engage with FX Sales in Asia to understand business development plans and gather functional and SLA requirements to maximize business outcome and align focus in a client centric approach

- Technical Expert: Design modular modern solution with supportability, scalability and sustainability in mind. Demonstrate Technical excellence in the implementation phase and leverage cutting-hedge modern technology to secure the best service quality to the Front Office.

- DevOps Engineer: Manage your own release and contribute to the safety and efficiency of the CICD pipeline as a critical factor of production stability and live issue remediation efficiency.

- Production Control Tower: Ensure proper instrumentation is in place, easy to access & understand for both day to day platform stability/performance monitoring and ad ’hoc prospective analysis.

- Proactive Team Player: Leverage inner-sourcing framework in place to collaboratively or self-implement suggested changes, when agreed and possible.

- Strategic Thinker: Work closely with Asia and global delivery team to continuously foster technical and organizational excellence.

- Technology Adoption: Integrate AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot in every aspect of your daily work to enhance development speed, business safety and deliveries quality.

Qualifications / Skills Required

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in software development within financial services.

Functional Experience:

- Good financial market, FX business and associated product knowledge.

- Good understanding of FX voice and electronic sales workflows

- Excellent written and oral communication. Able to create or maintain detailed and structured documentation.

- Ability to articulate technical concepts succinctly to a non-technical audience.

- English required.

Technical experience:

- Advanced proficiency in Java Kotlin and Spring Boot framework for microservice REST APIs, Kafka event driven and general back-end software development.

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript for micro frontend design (Angular.js)

- Advanced proficiency in SQL Postgres storage solutions

- Proven track-record of building and enhancing complex Front-Office facing IT systems

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerisation is important.

Product experience:

- Basic instrument knowledge: FX Spot, Forward and Swap

- FX popular trade and structures
