Job Description - HK Client Onboarding Analyst (12 months contract)

Join a leading global financial institution where you'll support the ongoing maintenance and review of high-net-worth and complex client accounts, working closely with teams across Compliance, AML, Operations and the front office.

Your new role

Perform Trigger Event and KYC reviews, assessing changes to client profiles and account information.
Review CIP documents, Source of Wealth (SOW), Total Net Worth (TNW) and other supporting documentation.
Manage account maintenance for a variety of structures including individuals, joint accounts, trusts, holding companies, funds and corporate entities.
Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies and potential risk concerns, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure client records and account information are accurately maintained in internal systems.
Support process improvements, data quality reviews, reporting and other team initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally 5 years of relevant experience within banking, wealth management or financial services. Candidates with less experience and strong relevant exposure may also be considered.
Hands-on experience in KYC, account maintenance, client onboarding, Trigger Event reviews, AML or periodic reviews.
Good understanding of client due diligence and complex account structures.
Exposure to SOW/TNW reviews and AML risk considerations would be an advantage
Chinese language skills are preferred.
