Infrastructure Project Manager

We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead modern workplace and end-user computing initiatives while overseeing day‑to‑day infrastructure operations. You will manage cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, reliable workplace technologies and provide senior technical guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver infrastructure and modern workplace projects covering end‑user computing and digital workplace technologies.
• Manage and enhance M365, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, endpoint protection, and MDM solutions across the environment.
• Provide 3rd‑tier support and act as an escalation point, collaborating with Service Desk, Network, Infrastructure and other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Oversee BAU operations for end‑user platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and a positive digital employee experience.
• Drive and coordinate change and incident management activities, including impact assessment, approvals, communication, and post‑incident reviews.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation, technical procedures, architecture diagrams, and user guides for solutions, projects, and operational processes.
• Ensure governance of compliance policies, security baselines, and configuration standards for all endpoints and workplace services.
• Champion modern workplace and digital workspace practices, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration, mobility, and automation.
• Engage stakeholders across the business, manage expectations, report project status, risks and issues, and drive continuous service improvement.

Skills and Experience

• Around 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure project management and/or senior infrastructure/modern workplace roles, including exposure to both projects and BAU operations.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM/MECM, Azure Virtual Desktop, endpoint security and device management.
• Proven track record delivering end‑user computing or modern workplace projects in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, especially Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor coordination skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into business language.
• Experience producing clear technical and user documentation and presenting guidance or training to end users.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, PMP/Prince2, Microsoft 365 or Azure) are highly regarded.
