Job Description - Investment Operations - Manager

Your new company

A leading Hong Kong-based insurer providing life, health, and general insurance solutions, with a strong digital focus and a growing presence serving customers across the city.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in investment operations, covering settlements, cash, reconciliations, pricing, corporate actions, and collateral
Strong issue resolution and control mindset, ensuring timely break management and SLA adherence
Experience supporting investment manager/account onboarding and operational readiness
Exposure to system and process change, including UAT and implementation support
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across custodians, investment managers, and internal teams
Broad understanding of multiple asset classes (derivatives, equities, fixed income)

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years' experience in Investment Operations, Middle Office, Asset Servicing, Custody, Collateral Management, or Trade Support within financial institutions, asset managers, or insurance firms.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CIPM, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong systems' proficiency, including Bloomberg (multiple modules) and familiarity with investment platforms such as Aladdin, Reuters, IDC, or other market data providers.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) with proven ability to operate in a global, cross-functional environment.
