Investment Project Manager / Business Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Investment Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our growing insurance client in Hong Kong. This is a critical role responsible for driving investment-related projects from initiation to successful implementation, bridging business needs with technology and operational delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management of investment initiatives (e.g., new investment systems, data platforms, portfolio management tools, ESG integration, or regulatory reporting enhancements).
• Conduct business analysis, gather requirements from investment and finance stakeholders, and translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and budgets using structured project management methodologies.
• Act as the key liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare project updates and reports for senior management and steering committees.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in project management or business analysis, with at least 3 years focused on investment project implementation (asset management, portfolio systems, trading platforms, or investment data solutions).
• Strong understanding of investment processes and financial products, ideally within insurance, asset management, or banking.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering complex investment-related IT or digital transformation projects.
• Solid experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in both Cantonese and English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Mandarin is an advantage.
