Job Description - Java Developer - Equity Derivative Risk Systems 80-90K

Job Description

Contribute to the enhancement of a real-time risk and P&L platform for equity derivatives
Support systems covering equities, FX, rates, credit and other asset classes
Work on distributed, multi-threaded server-side architecture and compute frameworks
Develop and maintain valuation services for trading, pricing, and market-making systems
Participate in an operation resiliency project within the Hong Kong team
Collaborate with global teams across New York, Montreal, London, Budapest, and Hong Kong
Ensure smooth system operations and troubleshoot technical issues
Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to system improvements

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of hands-on development experience
Strong skills in Java, Unix, and Sybase
Familiarity with C++, C#, Perl, or Python is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Effective communicator comfortable working across regions
Team-oriented mindset with solid collaboration skills
Knowledge of equity derivatives is a bonus
