KYC Remediation Consultant (Contract Position)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced KYC Consultant to join our team for 6 months to assist in the Periodic Review process for a European Private Bank, and to remediate any profiles that are not up to regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilties:

• Preform KYC review on client including HNWIs, family offices and trusts, and validate client profile information.
• Verify KYC process controls, including client hierarchy management, sanctions and PEP screenings, adverse information screening, hit follow-ups, and enhanced due diligence checks.
• Check data accuracy in KYC systems and ensure quality across the end-to-end review flow.
• Ensure all required KYC documents are complete and properly recorded.
• Conduct SOW/SOF review and remediation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Liaise with RMs and Business to obtain information to complete the review.
• Perform any ad-hoc issues related to the case.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to remediation timelines, providing support for management reporting and related preparations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of work experience in experience in KYC reviews, quality assurance, and remediation processes. Experience in Wealth Management is a must.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• AML/Trust related qualification or certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English
• Immediately available or short notice period would be advantageous.
