Job Description - Lead Consultant | Java | Gov. AI Project

Responsibility

Be a key technical contributor to large-scale enterprise projects, working closely with Project Managers and Team Leads.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to local and offshore development teams.
Contribute to system architecture, solution design, and technology decisions.
Design, build, and deliver high-quality software components aligned with best practices and standards.
Own end-to-end SDLC activities, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.

Requirement

6+ years of IT experience, with at least 4 years in enterprise application design and development.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of SDLC with hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.
Solid hands-on experience with: Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Microservices, Docker, ReactJS, RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. AugmentCode, Claude) is a plus.
Strong communication skills in English and Chinese.
A proactive, fast-learning team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
