Network Security Engineer (12-Month Contract)

Our client, one of the largest listed companies in Hong Kong, is renowned for its cutting-edge technologies and customer-centric approach in providing day-to-day services to society. They are currently seeking a network security engineer to join their team. This is an initial 12-month contract position with the possibility of renewal. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of the organization's network infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure that our network systems are secure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Contributions:

• Design, implement, and maintain network security measures to protect the organization's systems and data.
• Monitor network traffic for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
• Install and configure security software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to ensure the organization's network remains secure.
• Respond to security incidents and provide incident response support as needed.

Core Expectations:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in network security.
• Holder of CCNA or CISSP is preferred.
• Experience in cloud security related would be an advantage
• Fluent in written and speaking Cantonese & English
