Product Manager / Business Analyst - Wealth Management

Our client is looking for a PM/BA to support end‑to‑end delivery of client‑facing mobile and web applications for retail and professional investors. The role spans requirement definition, project coordination, and support for technical solution design and rollout.

You will work with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and the development team to help deliver secure, compliant, and performant wealth management applications that align with business objectives and user expectations. The position blends product thinking, project execution, and basic technical collaboration in a fast‑moving financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to application strategy and high‑level roadmaps for wealth management products.
• Assist with user demand analysis, light market research, and competitor review to refine features and user journeys.
• Draft and maintain product documentation, including requirements, simple PRDs, and prototypes for areas such as market data, trading, and account services.
• Help monitor post‑launch metrics and user feedback, and participate in ongoing enhancement discussions.
• Support project planning activities, including scope overview, timelines, and resource coordination.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to follow up on tasks, track status, and flag issues or risks when needed.
• Work with developers and architects to review proposed solutions, clarify requirements, and support testing activities (UAT, basic QA checks).
• When appropriate, contribute to small development or scripting tasks using common mobile or web technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional project or product certifications are an advantage.
• Around 2-5 years of experience in technology delivery, ideally within securities, trading, or wealth management, combining product or project responsibilities with exposure to technical teams.
• Ability to prepare structured documents, workflows, and simple interactive mockups using standard tools (e.g. Visio, Axure, Mockplus, or equivalents).
• Working knowledge of at least one major development stack used in mobile or web applications (for example Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective‑C, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to breaking down complex business processes into clear product requirements.
• Familiarity with financial markets or trading concepts and willingness to quickly pick up new business rules and regulations.
• Solid communication and coordination skills, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work with multiple teams; Mandarin is required for some stakeholder interactions.

Preferred

• Deeper experience with mobile platforms (Android or iOS), such as OS internals, performance, or networking.
• Exposure to cross‑platform or emerging technologies like Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform, or Web3/Node.js integrations.
• Comfort with modern front‑end frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React) and awareness of secure coding, CI/CD practices, and performance optimisation, even if not responsible for full implementation.
