Job Description - Project Manager (1-year contract)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage the full project lifecycle for insurance product launches, from initiation, planning, design, testing to execution and post-launch support
Drive Day 1 and Day 2 implementation activities with a strong operational and system readiness focus
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Product, IT, Operations, Compliance, Distribution channels, and external vendors
Define project scope, timeline, resource plan, risks, and dependencies
Chair project meetings and facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and progress tracking
Ensure alignment with SDLC, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and management updates
Support ad-hoc initiatives related to product and operational transformation as needed

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

University degree in Business, IT, or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with exposure to project management and/or business analysis
Experience in Life insurance product development or operations is highly preferred
Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Strong project management and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently under pressure and tight timelines
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Proficient in JIRA and MS Office
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
