Job Description - Project Manager (Banking, 6-month contract)

About Our Client

Our client is a market leader in the banking industry, renowned for its strong market presence and commitment to excellence in financial services.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Partner with project teams to identify requirements and deliverable, ensuring alignment with overall group programme objectives
Perform regulatory reporting control assessments, recommend enhancements, and prepare supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including the Banking Ordinance and HKMA SPM guidelines
Support regulatory reporting processes and external disclosures
Assist in preparing internal management reports and data analysis for senior management and key stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are advantageous
Minimum of 5 year's experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector or relevant audit experience
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High sense of ownership with a proactive and service-oriented mindset
Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
Candidates who are immediately available will be highly preferred
