Job Description - Project Manager (Finance), 65K-80K

We are seeking a talented Portfolio Manager for one of our most sizeable in-house financial clients.

Your new role

Define project objectives, scope, and constraints, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and task plans using tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
Establish and enforce governance frameworks, including decision-making authority and escalation paths
Deliver clear, data-driven progress reports in line with organisational standards.
Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment across work streams and dependencies.
Identify, track, and escalate risks and issues (RAID) to support timely resolution.
Plan and manage resources, including forecasting needs, tracking utilisation, and controlling costs.

What you'll need to succeed

7+ years of experience managing large-scale, high-value projects or programs.
Strong experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Solid understanding of project governance frameworks and performance reporting.
Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, or Agile preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proficiency in Jira, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite.
