PWM Margin Risk Associate (12 months contract)

A leading global financial institution with a strong presence in Private Wealth Management. The Business Control Unit acts as the first line of defense, ensuring robust risk controls and compliance across client portfolios.

Your new role

• Monitor and review PWM client portfolios while managing daily margin, limit excesses, and collateral maintenance.
• Investigate drivers of exposure changes (e.g. market moves, collateral fluctuations, trade activity) and assess risk implications which would contribute to credit metrics.
• Contribute to internal stress testing and scenario analysis processes.
• Clearly communicate risk insights, breaches, or data concerns to sales groups and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency in risk management policies and procedures applicable to PWM and comply with ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and enhance monitoring tools to support proactive risk management.
• Contribute to risk technology development / longer term projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis / credit advisory / risk management experience
• Product knowledge of various asset classes including equity, fixed income, listed and OTC equity derivatives, FX, Funds is a plus.
