Job Description - Scrum Master, Contract

Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate all Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions, ensuring they are time-efficient and focused on sprint objectives.
Coach and guide development and product teams on Agile and Scrum practices to strengthen collaboration, self-organization, and accountability.
Identify and help remove blockers and risks that may impact project progress, while maintaining team focus and protecting them from external distractions.
Act as the main contact between the technology and product teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on priorities.
Monitor sprint progress, track delivery against goals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through regular retrospectives and actionable feedback.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail banking, fintech, or large-scale digital transformation projects, with proven experience as a Scrum Master.
Proficient in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology and hands-on experience in team coaching and backlog management.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or similar) qualification is an advantage.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
